• CPOA donates $1,000 to the Foundation for the Undefeated

  The California Peace Officers’ Association (CPOA) of Newport Beach recently made a $1,000 donation to the non-profit organization, Foundation for the Undefeated. The Newport Beach Police Department (NBPD) chose the Foundation as the recipient for the donation, because they believe the Foundation is distinct from many of the other charitable organizations. The funds were raised from a Charity Barbeque Competition hosted by the CPOA Annual Training Symposium.

  When Malcolm Butler made that dramatic goal line interception in the final minute of Super Bowl XLIX, it turned out to be more than a game-winning play. Butler would later describe it as a dream play, but it was more than that, it was an inspiration for two West Alabama draft hopefuls.
